Ron serves on the WCMGA Board of Directors and serves as the leader of MG volunteers at the historic Carter House. There we are reconstructing the 1870 orchard, vegetable garden, and grounds – using the same heirloom trees and plants that existed at that time. He also serves on the Gardens & Grounds Committee of the Battle Of Franklin Trust, which manages the Carter House and Carnton Plantation in Franklin. Ron's garden was featured on the popular Nashville PBS TV series “Volunteer Gardener” and also in the Tennessee Gardener magazine.
