Attracting Beneficial Insects to your Garden

I attended a very informative meeting on how to attract beneficial insects to your garden. Thanks to David Cook, Entomologist at UT Ag Ext and Stoney Creek Farm. After the meeting, I'm inspired to put in my garden the recommended plants to attract beneficial insects.
1. Plant yellow and/or white flowers with very small blossoms and relatively open such as plants from the aster, carrot, and buckwheat families.
2. Recommended plants: Buckwheat, Dill, Cosmos, Coreospsis, Crimson Clover, and Goldenrod.
Putting these plants in your garden have a multitude of advantages aside from attracting beneficials.
Happy Gardening!
